The Awkward First One

Hello there. My name is Adam Holloway. I've decided to approach my newest blog creation in a very traditional way. With this very traditional introduction.

First, instead of posting a lot of strange-feeling information about me in the "About Me" section, I've decided to make a lot of observations about myself within this first post.

I live in Van Buren, AR with my wife and two roommates, currently. We are new to home-owning and managing a budget and whatnot, being a fairly newly-wed couple as well. Those few things alone are enough to inject some stress into our lives. And, given the current state of the economy, I sort of give us a few extra points for being new and dealing with it within slightly more trying times. I currently work at Sam's Club, as does my wife. She just recently joined the "team" after being ridiculously under-appreciated at Radioshack. She seems to be doing okay with it. I've been with Sam's for a little over two years (began Oct. '06).

I very much enjoy video games, reading, space, TV and movies, and anime.

We have two dogs which recently produced a slew (7) of more dogs. All of which were very cute at first. That, of course, wore off immediately once the smell of 7 puppies took form. We have 4 left to get rid of. Our two norm dogs, however, are quite loveable and mostly trained. Nacho and Sophie. You'll be seeing and hearing more about them.

Here's a good insight: It's currently wintry-mixing outside and I'm a little excited about it.

That's a pretty good window into our lives currently. Anything else I hope trickles through the proverbial net (if there ever was a proverbial net) at some point in the future.

That's it for now. Welcome to my blog! Oh, and the name "Collapsing Stars" comes from a Mountain Goats song. Collapsing stars are also just plain awesome.
